Films

PA/PE neutral

To be able to complete the guarantee of end product, SOCACEL introduces its own deep drawing films for fresh products (fresh meat, fish), cooked products (ham, sausage) and sliced products.

Special PA (Polyamide) and PE (Polyethylene) is used generally for simple cooked products with cooking temperature between 70 and 75°C.

Different thickness of PA and/or PE leads to good thermoforming quality for cook-in and traditional ham production.

Deep drawing multilayer film with EVOH/Surlyn

PA or PA/PE Surlyn films are used for the cook-in ham (standard size ham and/or long ham for slicing) or sliced ham production. This film guarantees good forming and sealing during packaging process and keeps the end product correctly in form during and after the cooking process. It also gives a large security and muscle quality for fresh meat and fish products. This film is available with and without meat adhesion, also in bag or tube form.

Film with high barriers

A very fine special EVOH layer incorporated with PA or PA/PE gives more security to the customer regarding e.g. shelf life and anti-oxidation effects.

Socacel offers a new developed high barrier film for red meat, poultry and especially for fish production which increases the shelf life and improves the quality of the packaged product itself during the storage. With this special film concept, the products stay almost without juice during and after the production. The quality of the film is proven by analytical results.
